Our areas of focus and technologies

Areas of focus

We are focused on the field of energy security and transition, dedicated to developing innovative technologies that ensure a reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy future primarily for Jersey and the Channel Islands, but taking our pioneering technologies to other Island Nations and communities to benefit from.

Technologies

At JET we advocate “Huge impact - Small footprint”, a statement that resonates with Island nations globally, but we deliver clean, cost-effective solutions to secure energy futures. The energy transition space is fast evolving, with new technologies being developed at an ever-increasing-rate, and whilst not all technology will be applicable to Jersey, they can be considered as part of a broader strategy to provide a strong, resilient base load that can evolve with the Governments Energy strategy, including net zero targets.
